What we build

Design, construction and maintenance under one contract

Court Craft self-performs civil works, surfacing and equipment installation, so a single contractor carries a project from earthworks through to line marking. Most sports-surface failures originate in the base rather than the surface, which is why the two are not split across separate trades.

Sports court construction

Tennis, netball, basketball, volleyball and multipurpose courts, set out and marked to association specification.

Sports field construction

Synthetic grass football, futsal and hockey fields, including FIFA-standard surfaces.

Surfacing and resurfacing

Plexipave and Plexicushion acrylic systems, synthetic grass and Har-Tru clay. Court Craft has been an authorised Plexipave installation agent for more than 20 years.

Civil construction

Earthworks, drainage, asphalt and concrete: the base that determines how long the surface above it lasts.

Fencing, lighting and equipment

Court fencing, sports lighting, and supply and installation of nets, posts, goals and rings.

Maintenance programs

Scheduled maintenance and resurfacing to extend the service life of existing facilities.

Reference

Court and field dimensions

Court Craft publishes measured dimension guides for the sports it builds. Each guide sets out the playing area, run-off, total footprint and line markings, so a facility manager can check whether a site will take a full-size court before going to tender.

Does Court Craft work with local councils and schools?

Yes. Most Court Craft projects are delivered for local government councils, public and independent schools, universities and sporting associations, usually through a tender or panel arrangement. Court Craft also works with design consultants and head contractors as a specialist subcontractor.

What areas does Court Craft cover?

Court Craft operates across New South Wales and Queensland from two depots — Riverstone in north-west Sydney and Loganholme south of Brisbane. Projects run from metropolitan Sydney and Brisbane out to regional centres including Newcastle, Coffs Harbour, Ballina and Ipswich.

What surfaces does Court Craft install?

Court Craft installs Plexipave and Plexicushion acrylic systems, synthetic grass, and Har-Tru clay. It has been an authorised Plexipave installation agent for more than 20 years, and is an official supplier to Netball Queensland.

Can an existing court be resurfaced instead of rebuilt?

Often, yes. Where the base and drainage are still sound, resurfacing costs less than full reconstruction and causes less disruption. Court Craft assesses the existing base first and will say plainly when a rebuild is the better value over the life of the asset.

Does Court Craft handle the civil works as well as the surface?

Yes. Court Craft self-performs earthworks, drainage, asphalt and concrete alongside the sports surface, so one contractor is accountable for the entire build rather than coordinating separate trades.

How do I get a quote for a court or field?

Call 1800 996 353 or email information@courtcraft.com.au with the site location, the sport, and any drawings or specifications you already hold. Court Craft will advise on surface options and provide a written quotation.
